Tim Anderson
President / Chief Technical Officer
With
over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications,
broadcast, computer and networking industries, Tim Anderson,
President and Chief Technical Officer of TBC Integration,
possesses deep technical knowledge which translates
into the delivery of value-added services to handle
any client requirements. He is a proven visionary in
all aspects of start-up operations, with extensive experience
in strategic planning, network infrastructure deployment,
software development, marketing, sales management, and
international distribution. Mr. Anderson's technical
expertise includes MPEG-2 compression, IP over satellite,
broadband streaming video, and voice packet switching.
As the President and CTO of TBC Integration, Mr. Anderson
has the chief responsibility of developing and implementing
cutting-edge technology products and services for clients
in the global marketplace, in addition to developing
networks of qualified consultants to meet client demand,
raising venture capital and formulating patent applications
on newly developed processes.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Anderson served
as the President and CTO of Bit Central, in addition
to retaining a seat on the Board of Directors. After
securing over $4.5 million in venture capital funding,
he built the organization to $15.3 million in revenues
and a staff of 58 professionals in a two-year timeframe.
In conjunction with his tenure at Bit Central, he served
as the Chief Architect and as a member of the Board
of Directors for AnyTime TV.
In 1991, Mr. Anderson co-founded Direct Net Telecommunications,
which realized revenues of $85 million in 2000, with
over 200 employees working in five foreign countries. Direct
Net was acquired in 2000 by a financial consortium of
private equity investors led by Baring Communications
Equity (Emerging Europe) and Sector Capital Fund Limited.
Mr. Anderson previously served as President of Miralite
Communications, for eight of his eleven-year tenure,
in addition to holding positions as CFO and VP of Sales.
Miralite, an antenna manufacturer and network integration,
had peak sales of $8 million.
Mr. Anderson received a degree in Economics from the
University of California, Irvine. He has created and
secured five trademarks (Spaceline, view.topia, Virtual
Generator, Mediapipe, and bitcentral), and is a co-inventor
on two patent applications. |
